They're not that rare. The main issue is not many people do FoW anymore. Back in the old days that axe would fetch 1mill+ with ease. It's a shame they dropped to the 100+20 mark. Never much cared for the skin, but it brings back good memories.

think the rarest drop i ever saw was a req8 dwarven axe unconditional +15% that i customized and used the hell out of until lag made me sell it to the merchant one day.

other than that im gonna go with rarest item being ectos outside of uw/fow/tombs. because i too have seen them drop in the black curtain. over 2 and a half years ago.

As for the rarest drops from foes, I don't know about req7 and req8 items because A) nobody seems to have seen a non-inscribable req7/8 drop in months (AFAIK) and B) they can probably no longer be considered 'drops'. The algorithim seems to have changed concerning requirements.

How can wiki know that gold crystallines don't drop from foes anymore? Anet said it?(i'm just curious, since i never heard much about it)

Gold Crystallines never dropped from mobs. They only drop from the HoH chest, and the Z-chest. Purples can be gotten from certain chests, but they also do not drop from mobs.

What about all those Ursan Groups farming FoW on HM?

That said, I once had a drop of a req 8 15^50 Shadow Bow 2 years ago, but haven't seen another one drop for anyone in my party since.

I thought the same thing but just got a nice r8 insc 16ac shield last night, too bad it was purple

The best item I have found is an r3 +10 energy healing ankh, both inscriptable and it holds a core upgrade. I know it is short of max +en, but I bet you havent seen anything that good for 3req. I still have it and always will, besides nobody would ever buy it because it dropped as a blue.... meh

Totally forgot about those. Almost 3 years, 4000 hours and I haven't seen a sup vigor drop.
